I want to position a "Search" module in the banner or the navigation above, but apparently no template has a position for it. Or did I miss something? Has something like this been described here as a solution?

Hi Corno,

What template are you referring to?

Thanks,

In template style or one. It would be great in the navigation bar to the right of the social buttons. Maybe just as a symbol (magnifying glass) that then opens a popup with the search field. I have seen this many times in wordpress and typo3, but not in Joomla.

It is currently not a feature but I will keep it in mind for future design.

Note there is a position in the header called custom. You could try adding a search module there.
Simply create a new module of type search and position it in the custom position.

Thanks,
JohnO

Thank you, I've already noticed and tried the position. Unfortunately, this moves the banner and the entire navigation. The navigation is not correct.

Please post a link and I will see if there is a fix you can use to move the module.

Thanks,
